Delicious Weekend Dish: How to Make Fragrant and Tasty Cashew Shrimp

Stir-Fried Cashew Shrimp is a dish that’s both flavorful and nutritious. The rich, creamy texture of cashews complements the fresh, sweet taste of shrimp, making it a delightful meal for the whole family.

Cashews aren’t just a tasty snack; they’re also a source of essential nutrients for your health. They contain important vitamins like E, K, and B6, along with essential minerals such as copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, all of which play crucial roles in maintaining bodily functions. Moreover, cashews can be prepared in various ways while preserving their nutritional value. You can try making this Stir-Fried Cashew Shrimp using the simple steps below:


  • 400 grams of fresh shrimp (large, peeled and deveined)
  • 80 grams of cashews
  • Half an onion (cleaned and thinly sliced), 1 piece of ginger + 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • One bell pepper
  • Cooking oil, white wine, oyster sauce, salt, seasoning powder, sugar, ground black pepper


Marinate the shrimp with a bit of sugar, salt, white wine, ginger, and chopped onions for about 20 minutes to enhance their flavor.

Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a pan, then add the cashews and stir-fry until they turn golden.

Transfer the pan to the stove, add a little more cooking oil, and sauté the sliced onions.

Next, add the marinated shrimp and stir-fry until they firm up and turn red.

When the shrimp are cooked, add the bell pepper and cashews, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Finally, season the dish with oyster sauce, seasoning powder, ground black pepper, adjusting the flavors to your preference. Serve the Stir-Fried Cashew Shrimp on a plate and enjoy!
